Each episode would showcase regional challenges, such as mining for gold in San Francisco or assembling auto parts in Detroit, with one contestant eliminated weekly. The finale would crown a winner who receives U.S. citizenship in a Capitol Hill ceremony officiated by a judge or politician. While The Daily Mail reported that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem (dubbed “ICE Barbie”) supported the project, DHS officials denied the claim.
